A demonstration storeAlder & Pine Home is a fictitious company. It runs on Pegasus Commerce, in test mode: nothing is sold, shipped or charged, and no real money moves.

Terms of use

This store is operated by Pegasus Source LLC, 30 N Gould St, Suite N, Sheridan, WY 82801, to demonstrate how a store sells to people and to AI agents. By using it, or by sending an agent to it, you agree to these terms.

Orders placed here are tests. No goods are delivered and no payment is taken: card payments run in Stripe's test mode, the other payment options are labelled stand-ins, and Silver Lake financing decisions are demonstrations. Nothing here is an offer of credit.

Use test details only. Don't enter a real card number, Social Security number or other sensitive information.

The store is provided as is, without warranties, and may change or go offline at any time. We may refuse, pause or remove any agent or account.

Terms for AI agents

Agents shop over UCP at this address (the API is described at /openapi.json) and through the store's MCP connector at /mcp.

  • Browsing is open. Buying needs a key: one the store issues, or one an AI app gets when its person connects it through the store's sign-in.
  • An agent acting for a shopper can't pay. It sends the cart to the shopper, who approves and pays on their own device, within the spending limit and end date they set. The store refuses anything over that limit.
  • The store checks who stands behind an agent when the agent sends it: its operator's signature (Web Bot Auth) or a KYA token. A signature or token that doesn't hold up is refused, and the first one used with a key is bound to it. The store may choose to sell only to signed or verified agents.
  • Agents must identify themselves honestly, send each signed request once, and stay within the limits the store and the shopper set. Agents that don't are refused or blocked.
  • Every purchase, approval and refusal goes on the store's tamper-evident record. Anyone can check that the record hasn't been altered.

Privacy

We keep what the demonstration needs: the email you sign in with, the addresses you add, your test orders, and the agents you connect. From a KYA token we keep the agent's ID and a one-way reference to the person or business behind it, never their identity. Card details go to Stripe's test mode; we never see them.

We don't sell your information or use it for advertising. To have what we hold deleted, email us.

If you turn on texts, we keep your mobile number and when you agreed. We use them only to send the texts described under Text messages. We don't share or sell your mobile number or your consent to receive texts with anyone for their marketing, and we don't use them for ours.

Text messages

What they are. If you connect an AI shopping agent to your account, you can ask us to text you when that agent needs you: when the store stops it because it tried to spend over the limit you set, or because its permission to shop for you has ended. Texts are about your own agents only. We don't send marketing texts.

How you turn them on. Texts are off until you turn them on yourself. Sign in, open your profile, enter your mobile number and check "Yes, send me automated texts … when one of my shopping agents needs me", then choose Yes, turn on texts. Texts are optional: you don't need them to shop or buy anything. We send one text straight away to confirm. You can turn them off in your profile at any time.

The profile setting: a mobile number field, an unchecked consent checkbox with the frequency, rates, STOP, HELP and consent-not-required wording, and the Yes, turn on texts button.
Where you turn texts on, in your signed-in profile.

How often. Message frequency varies. We text only when the store stops one of your agents: usually none, a few a month at most.

Cost. Message and data rates may apply.

Stopping them. Reply STOP to any text, or turn texts off in your profile. Reply HELP for help, or contact us. Carriers aren't liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your mobile number is used only for these texts; see Privacy.
